New version introduces new user interface and signing capabilities
ORLANDO, FLA. — (June 20, 2011) — AssureSign LLC, a leader in electronic signature software, today announced the official release of the latest offering of its AssureSign product, AssureSign v3.1. With this new release, AssureSign delivers a higher degree of usability and customization, as well as the introduction of signature pad support. These enhancements are primarily a direct result of input from our rapidly expanding domestic and international customer base.
AssureSign is a web-hosted and on-premise software application that facilitates the capture of electronic signatures on any document in an all-digital, highly secure environment. Since its inception, AssureSign has had the ability to capture biometric, hand-written signatures through the use of a mouse, which has proven to be the preferred method of signature collection among AssureSign customers. AssureSign v3.1 introduces the LocalSign application, which provides signature pad support for both on-premise and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) use of signing pads from Topaz and Wacom, opening the door to a limitless variety of uses of AssureSign, enabling users to easily integrate the technology into their existing business process for collecting electronic signatures in person. Additionally, the AssureSign LocalSign SDK enables third party developers to write plug-ins for use with the LocalSign Windows application.
Another significant enhancement in AssureSign v3.1 is the complete overhaul of the signing process, including a completely redesigned signing interface. Improved signing instruction, disclosures and password presentation ensure that signatories can jump into the signing process with little pre-instruction, as well as improved capabilities to scroll through and preview documents or step in and out of the signing process while reading the document. On the administration side, advanced color management options and improved page layout controls are now available through the online customization and branding administration tool, creating a seamless user experience. AssureSign v3.1 also includes improved capabilities for dynamically assigning signatory ownership of JotBlocks, for a simpler signatory experience.
Additional enhancements in AssureSign v3.1 include:
Support for additional documents types, including:
Support for additional personal x.509 certificate authorities, including:
“AssureSign is committed to providing an electronic signature solution that is easy and efficient for companies and their customers,” said David W. Brinkman, AssureSign’s president and chief executive officer. “With the customization updates in this release, as well as the introduction of signing pad support, AssureSign users have a greater ability to customize their signing centers for a more cohesive and intuitive experience for their customers.”
