For nearly 20 years, our mission has been to make it easier and easier to sign anything electronically. From digital signature pads to Salesforce integrations, we take every possible step to simplify your eSignature transactions.
Recently, we have witnessed a digital transformation, and you might have noticed it, too: people everywhere are glued to their smartphones. A recent study found that workers access their email via mobile devices up to 70% of the time.
AssureSign aims to help businesses like yours grow faster and remain competitive by offering innovative products and services that empower you to enhance your customers’ experiences. This is why we’re excited to introduce a completely new to market feature enabling you to meet customers where they are… literally.
eSign via Text Message enables you to send documents to customers via SMS/text message. Then, within minutes and a few thumb swipes, your signers will have completed your documents and forms… all from the device in their back pocket!
Why should I consider eSign via Text Message?
According to the Pew Research Center, over 80% of adults in the U.S. send a text each day. Connect Mogul found that 90% of those text messages are read in under three minutes. Empowering your customers to complete documents via text messaging brings convenience to them and a much higher document completion and close rate to your business!
Will it be a good fit for my customers?
While the majority of workers conduct business on their mobile devices, not everyone does. eSign via Text is a great option for your customers who may not check their email inboxes routinely but who own a smartphone or other internet-capable device. In fact, therein lies the beauty of leveraging SMS/text messaging with your entire customer base… Whether they’re 18 or 81, most all your customers have their preferred “go-to” digital device to conduct business, talk with friends, or even play games. With eSign via Text, your forms and documents can be sent–any time of day–and completed on the internet-capable device your customers utilize the most!
How difficult is it to get eSign via Text setup?
AssureSign’s customer success team can easily activate the eSign via Text feature on existing accounts. What’s more, you won’t need to make any major changes to existing templates or to your sending process in general.
eSign via Text is operational across all service providers (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.) and is compatible with nearly every (internet-capable) mobile device on the market (iPhones, Androids, etc.). The signing process is remarkably simple for signers to navigate and remains uniform across all phone models and providers.
Once you begin using eSign via Text, a short code–short digit sequence–is immediately assigned to your AssureSign account as your business’s sending proxy phone number. Your documents will always send from this same 5 to 6-digit phone number, regardless of customer, account, cell provider, number of documents, etc. The short code infrastructure, opposed to that of standard 10-digit proxies, enables AssureSign to provide your business with better security along with seamless Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other FCC regulation compliance.
