David W. Brinkman

President & Chief Executive Officer

David W. Brinkman has been an entrepreneur in technology since 1985, having served as a computer programmer for Health Technologies and a project manager at Virtual Technologies Inc. before co-founding AssureSign LLC’s two sister companies, Marketing Systems Group, Inc. and Third Party Verification, Inc. (3PV). Under his leadership as Chief Executive Officer of each company, both have grown exponentially since their inception. Building on the highly successful track record of these two companies, David co-founded AssureSign LLC in January 2008. To launch this latest corporate venture, he has been involved in the development of some of the most innovate applications available in the electronic signature software industry.

David is an active board member of the Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA).  ESRA provides a vendor- and technology-neutral forum that advocates public policy and promotes the inherent compliance, efficiency and transparency benefits of electronic processes to the public, businesses and government alike. David has served as the Association’s Chairman in 2013, Vice-Chairman in 2012 and currently holds the position of Treasurer.


Donald Kratt

Chief Technology Officer

Donald was brought in to AssureSign’s sister company, 3PV, in 2003, and oversees the Software Engineering operations of both companies. He helped architect the AssureSign platform and constructed the engineering team, and he continues to oversee the telephony and software applications of the 3PV company. Previously, Donald has worked with other software companies, including the development of legal industry software applications at Equitrac and insurance automation products at Applied Systems. Originally from Dearborn, Michigan, Donald graduated in 1989 with a bachelors degree in finance from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.


Mike Chynoweth

Director of Software Engineering

Mike has put his passion for programming and development to work for AssureSign and its previous sister company, 3PV since 2005. For nearly two decades, he has transitioned businesses in the technology sector to smarter digital solutions. Prior to AssureSign, Mike worked for Cru, where he transformed existing paper reporting processes into a globally deployed digital solution. Mike then brought his programming expertise to AssureSign, where he ultimately stepped into a development leadership role. He currently leads our team of developers as AssureSign’s Director of Software Engineering, devising innovative and creative digital document signing solutions. Originally from South Africa, Mike attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. When he’s not at work, you’ll likely catch him enjoying some of his favorite activities and hobbies: reading, hiking, gardening and growing vegetables and fruit, or enjoying time spent with his children.


David Madison

Director of Operations

Dave started with AssureSign in 2007 managing the Software Quality Assurance group for both AssureSign and her sister company, 3PV. He has grown within the company to also manage Client Services, Project Management, Audit and Call Center Operations. Dave has worked in both hardware and software markets ranging from the US Air Force, the entertainment industry at Sea World of Florida, the telecommunications industry at Geotek Communications, business and legal software at Equitrac and enterprise software development at Veritas and Symantec. Dave grew up in Virginia, settling in Florida as an adult. Dave is a Certified Christian Counselor and serves as the Youth Minister at his local church.


Michelle Cloninger

Director of Sales and Marketing

Michelle joined AssureSign as a Marketing Manager before transitioning to our Director of Sales and Marketing. As Director, Michelle optimizes our marketing division by employing tactical strategies to promote brand awareness and further our recognition within the industry. The confluence of her leadership over our marketing division and sales team yields exponential growth and success for both departments. Moreover, as a member of our leadership team, Michelle contributes greatly to our company’s overall development strategy and forecasting. Prior to joining AssureSign, Michelle excelled as a Recruiting Specialist and later the Social Media Manager for MarketSource. Michelle, an Atlanta native, graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and has attained additional certifications in inbound marketing, Google Analytics, and paid SEO search. When away from the office, Michelle enjoys playing with her canine companion, Chandler or heading to a summer festival in the city with good company.


Andrea Schwartz

Director of Client Services

Andrea joined the AssureSign team in 2011 after a ten-year stint in the financial sector. Andrea develops relationships in managing our Client Onboarding, Training, and Services and Project Management divisions. Prior to joining our team, Andrea served as the Client Services Director at Worldwide Interactive Services, where she spearheaded many projects aimed at client service quality and improvement. Before bringing her passion of customer service to the client services realm, Andrea worked as a Project Management Leader and on the process improvement analysis team at some of the most prominent corporations in the financial industry, including Bank of America and Fiserv. When she’s not at work, Andrea enjoys cheering on the joys of her life, Tucker and Riley out on the soccer field.
