Yesterday, e-signature company AssureSign participated in law firm Baker Donelson’s third Annual Southeastern Regional Capital Connections event in Atlanta. Out of 15 companies invited to pitch to 21 capital investors from across the Southeast, AssureSign landed among the top three, as voted by the capital investors in attendance. Joining AssureSign in the top three were Atlas Health and Clinigence. The three winners will receive $5,000 in legal services from Baker Donelson.
“AssureSign is achieving momentum as electronic signatures are now a fundamental business need,” said David Brinkman, president and CEO of AssureSign. “The market opportunity for electronic signatures is tremendous, and business leaders in our region and nation-wide are taking notice.”
Baker Donelson’s Atlanta office organizes the Southeastern Regional Capital Connections. This year’s event drew 80 applications and more than 20 investors from Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. “So far the conference has resulted in companies receiving $2.5 million in funding,” said Justin Daniels, shareholder of Baker Donelson. “We had our strongest group of companies this year and AssureSign impressed a lot of investors with their presentation.”
